The place was clean and tidy, and the location was convenient. I couldn't find anything to complain about, and it offered good value for the price.

“Great stay in a nice room on a beautiful place with very friendly staff”

The property felt very secure and the owner was genuinely helpful and welcoming. Every morning we were greeted with a fresh breakfast. If you need to be close to many amenities and the city center, this spot is a little inconvenient, but using Bolt or Grab makes it manageable.

The little cabin on the lake was nice, and the location was quiet. Fishing would be possible, but you’d need to bring your own bait. The gate is locked, so you must call the owner every time you leave or return; a better solution like giving guests a key would help. After booking, an automatic message said alcohol was prohibited, which we only noticed when we were on the terrace drinking beer; we called the owner and clarified that it wasn’t an issue, but it might be worth noting that the area is Muslim, nearby restaurants are halal, and prayer calls are made.

Morning and night were quiet, and the views of the rice fields were great. We were forgotten when we arrived—no one was there. We spent 30 minutes trying to reach anyone, and we were lucky to buy a SIM card on the way. Mosquitoes were plentiful. Throughout our stay the grounds were under renovation, so it was noisy and we had to leave early and arrive late.
