The accommodation is gorgeous right next to the salt ponds, brand‑new and spotless, and the owner is pleasant—highly recommend it.

“Când voi reveni la Ocne, cu siguranță, voi alege aceeași cazare!!!”

The villa is just a couple of steps from the lakes, which was a nice surprise for me; the room is tastefully arranged with a balcony to enjoy the evening, the mattress is excellent, the bathroom is ample and very clean. The villa is two‑storey, and even though it was fully occupied, I didn’t feel anyone else’s presence, meaning the walls are pretty well insulated! The garden is nicely set up with tables to sit at. Breakfast, while not exactly as pictured, is still quite varied, high quality, and plentiful… I recommend the coffee, it’s delicious! The staff are very friendly and show you they want you to feel at ease.

A friendly, open‑minded, and helpful family business; we could converse smoothly in German (not always in English). The rooms were clean and well equipped. Parking is right at the hotel. The breakfast was great, and in the evening the on‑site restaurant offered a good selection at reasonable prices.

“Zur falschen Zeit am richtigen Ort”

Vila Salzburg sits in the town centre, everything is within walking distance. The rooms are modern and tastefully furnished, and we had a nice view of the garden. The hosts are warm, eager, and speak excellent German. Breakfast was tasty and generous, leaving no room for complaints. It’s a pity the season only starts in early June (we were there on 21 May) and outside of season the town of Ocna Sibiului is practically closed. Nothing to complain about the neighbourhood.
