Location, cleanliness, staff friendliness…ALL! We had a great time and felt very welcome. They even offered us a bottle of wine for the birthday! (Unfortunately, being abstainers we didn’t drink it and couldn’t take it on the plane, but we really appreciated it ❤️) It will stay close to our hearts.

Perfect location on a small street just two steps from Puerta del Sol and Sol Metro, and 200 m from Plaza Mayor, the two main tourist squares of Madrid. The staff were very welcoming. The room was small (for one person) but adequate. Towels were changed daily and the sheets were changed once during my stay. The mini‑fridge was very handy. The room faced an inner courtyard, which was not disruptive and made it quieter.

Great spot for exploring Madrid on foot, and the bed was excellent. The hotel doesn’t serve breakfast, but the nearby cafeteria Esperatos on the street offers good quality, cheap food with a variety of choices. I recommend this hotel without hesitation.
