“Staying in the Danta lodge was a highlight of our Costa Rica tour, we will never forget it!”

The spot sits right in the heart of the jungle, and the lodges and restaurant look like pieces of art. Everyone on the team is super friendly and shows you plenty of thrilling tours of the surrounding nature, or you can wander on your own or climb the observatory tower. The food at the restaurant is really tasty. The only downside is that the lodge doesn’t have air conditioning or a pool, but we loved the “back to nature” feel.

I’d recommend this place surrounded by a forest full of animals. The staff listens and cares, the food is delicious. Perfect.

fantastic breakfast, great service and setting. Not sure there is any need to travel to Drake Bay when you can drive yourself to this oasis of beauty. We saw Cayman, numerous frogs, monkeys, macaws. Great fixed price 3 course dinner. Lovely dining room setting and amazingly few mosquitos! Rooms are amazing - 'outdoor' bathroom is an experience to love!. Nothing

It was magical, clearly a labor of love. The staff was terrific, the food exceptional, and the tours were top quality. The craftsmanship – buildings, trails, whimsical sculptures all over the property – gave the place a unique charm.

A nice separate room with lovely walking paths. The food in the restaurant was tasty. Nothing else.
