The mountain house has an unbeatable location—you can just step out onto the slopes and you don’t have to worry about anything else. The only downside is that you can’t book a ski pass ahead of time, which was a bit frustrating.

The hotel is in a nice spot and the room felt cozy with great views, though breakfast left a lot to be desired while dinner was solid. Most of the staff were pleasant, but a couple of reception folks seemed to ignore us, which was disappointing.

Staying up on the mountain was perfect for ski‑in/ski‑out, and the staff were wonderful, serving a lovely breakfast. Unfortunately, our room was directly above the restaurant’s sound system, so we didn’t get quiet until quite late.

The location is convenient, but there was a lot of noise around the property—definitely not the peace you’d expect.
