The location of the accommodation, close to Purschenstein Castle and near the lake, is truly beautiful.
The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and the restaurant in the remise was a must-visit.
I was impressed with the cleanliness and quietness of my stay, and the breakfast was excellent.
Breakfast is served in the grand castle hall, making it a unique experience.

I enjoyed breakfast every morning and the location was perfect. I had an overall excellent experience
The room was pleasantly large, bright, and absolutely clean. However, the hospitality was disappointing; as a guest, I didn’t feel like a “king” but rather tolerated. Dining hours were very limited: the main restaurant closed at 21:00, and the alternative at the castle closed at 20:00 and was far away. Breakfast was only offered at the castle for 19 € per person, which was extremely overpriced for what was provided—nothing special at all. Though advertised, there was no bike garage; we had to park our expensive e‑bikes in the entrance area instead. In short, good rooms can’t save a stay when the service and online information don’t match. I wouldn’t recommend it.
