“Did not stay with all his cats”

After seeing other guests for less than 15 minutes, the owner tried to charge us 10 € per person, which was shocking. Rude cats ran around in and out of the rooms, and the owner wouldn’t refund us. He should have mentioned the cats on his website or at least acknowledged that people can be allergic. I would never book it again knowing this.

The staff, especially Mauricio, were fantastic—super friendly, really helpful and gave us everything we needed during our stay.

“Una delusione, considerato anche il prezzo!”

The breakfast was acceptable, everything pre‑packed. The location was misleading: the address listed on Booking is wrong, so instead of being just off a side street next to the highway as the incorrect address suggests, you actually have to travel 4 km into a narrow country lane far from the highway, making it inconvenient to reach Tuscania. It’s completely isolated, nothing around. Internet and phone don’t work, hard to contact the hotel. The garden‑level room, though clean, had small cockroaches, which is understandable in a rural setting but not pleasant to deal with.

The triple room we stayed in was full of cockroach‑like beetles, two of which were found in the double bed. After a late‑night wedding, we killed about fifteen of them, then tired and sore we detached the beds from the walls and collapsed. The next day the owner reminded us that the property is in the countryside, somewhat normalizing the incident, and thanked us for the communication. Even though payment was supposed to be on site, the bill had already been charged to the credit card before breakfast.
