The place was clean, the staff were friendly, and there was plenty of parking. Nothing else to mention.

The staff were kind and helped us out early, making the experience pleasant. I had told them my travel purpose, so they even approached us on the way back. The people on the same floor were a bit careless with opening and closing their doors, so the door noises bothered me.

The couple, Mr. and Mrs. Kenzu, were incredibly friendly, and the pre‑arrival communication and shuttle service were thoughtful and thorough; when I forgot to mention that I needed a vegan breakfast, they still managed to accommodate me. The overall setting was quiet and clean, with tatami and beds that were very comfortable to lie in. The location is a bit farther from the main city and station, so unless you drive yourself you’ll rely more on the shuttle. The rooms and shared bathrooms were modest in size, but the value for money was excellent.

They provided a shuttle to Echigo-Yuzawa Station, and there were comics available, including some really nostalgic titles.
