“Apartamento amplio y muy bien acondicionado cerca del centro de Gdansk”

It’s a cinematic apartment, very well decorated, spacious, with plenty of storage, clean, and equipped with all the necessary items. They even have duvets, bedding, and spare towels. We had a cleaning issue and it was resolved immediately, excellent customer service. The bed is a bit soft and the duvets don’t reach from the feet to the head. The curtains don’t block the light. I asked if there was no heating and they answered only “we’re in summer,” instead of offering hot air. The directions to locate the apartment are sparse; we couldn’t figure out where to put the garbage in the bins.

I would have given 10 points, but there are a few things in the apartment that could have been different. First the positives: the apartment is really beautiful and well laid out; everything was very clean; the furnishings match the description. I can’t comment on the functionality of the appliances because we didn’t use them (we didn’t cook or do laundry). The Old Town is only about 6–8 minutes on foot. The bed in the bedroom is comfortable, although the mattress is only about 10 cm high and a topper lies on it (both look brand new). With a width of 1.60 m I find it a bit narrow – we’re not overweight people. Space for a 1.80 m wide bed would actually have been available. The negatives: the TV program—99 % of the channels are Polish. Except for three foreign news channels (CNN, BBC, Deutsche Welle in English and Euronews “No Comment”) there is no international TV. No Italian (RAI) or German programs (ARD, ZDF). Netflix worked in the bedroom, but I assume previous guests entered their data and forgot to log out. The curtains in the living room are simply too small; at night it’s almost impossible to avoid being seen from the opposite side. The bathroom ventilation runs 24 hours a day and can’t be turned off. It’s very odd that it blows air directly into the living room. I’ve never seen that before. The four chairs at the dining table are simply worn out (“sloughed”) and very wobbly. The address of the property is confusing. The exact address should read: Aura Gdansk_ Toruńska 15, 80‑747 Gdańsk, Poland. The number 32 is only the apartment number in the building.

Clean, large apartment, air conditioning, comfortable bed. The parking entrance was dramatically narrow, requiring the car to fold its mirrors. Maneuvering in the parking lot requires good skills due to densely placed poles.
