“It brings back memories.”
I stayed here again after more than ten years, and everything was just fine.
“Je rêve déjà d’y retourner et d’y séjourner plus longtemps.”
Nari, the owner, welcomed me with charm, the room was clean and beautiful, the house’s architecture and décor felt like a unique art piece, the atmosphere was calm and gentle, and it’s in a wonderful artists’ village.
“A relaxed cordial atmoshere in a street/ town full of eateries and its very differet from all others”
The house is a unique architectural piece in an area full of similar properties, and it feels light, bright, and relaxed. The owners’ daughters run the place, are very helpful, and speak excellent English. You almost have the whole house to yourself, so it’s a big space filled with quality art and books—an artist’s dream. The downside is that the rooms are small and cramped; the beds take up most of the floor, except for one of the three rooms upstairs, which is more expensive if it’s available. The bathrooms are basic and miss simple items like hooks and enough space to lay out toiletries. The shower is just okay.
The guesthouse is stunning, and the host and staff are incredibly kind, making my solo trip feel cozy and warm; the spot is also near many cafés!
Nari was very accommodating and even helped me when I got lost; the vibe was peaceful and warm, perfect for book lovers or anyone wanting a quiet stay. It’s inside Heyri Art Village, so walking to cafés, restaurants, shops, and a convenience store is easy, and I didn’t need to leave the village to find great spots like the Music Space Camerata. I’ll definitely return.
