The lodge’s facilities and rooms were excellent, offering plenty to do and see, yet every food and drink item on the menu was unreasonably pricey.

“Very relaxing and great get away, Exactly what we wanted”

The place was great and spotless, but the hot water pressure in our room was weak and the staff didn’t fix it after we called.

“Great proximity to park!”

We were so close to the South entrance of the park—just a 6‑7 minute drive—and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from.

“Direkt am Nationalpark - teilweise empfehlenswert”

The location right on the Nationalpark is perfect. The room was acceptable, and the hotel’s deli offered grab‑and‑go breakfast. The pool was nice with whirlpools, though mostly for adults. Three nights were okay. However, we first got a “Durchzimmer” with a connecting door that didn’t meet our expectations, so we paid extra to switch. The new room had a nice balcony and was fine. The food didn’t match our taste, and the restaurant was only partially open. Staff seemed unmotivated, the pool‑area toilet was dirty, and there was essentially no service at the pool bar; we had to go to the restaurant instead. All in all, the hotel left us with a vague “naja.”
