“Quiet Quaint Bed and Breakfast Near Arthurs Seat with Excellent Rooms and Staff”

The staff are the highlight of this hotel—they’re extremely friendly and knowledgeable about Scottish history and local sights. It’s a small bed and breakfast about a 20‑30 minute walk or a 5‑8 minute drive from the Royal Mile in a cute neighborhood. Most guests are middle‑aged to older, but even at 25 we had a fantastic time. Because of its quiet nature, it offers a relaxing home base for your Scotland visit. It’s near the trailhead to Arthurs Seat, which is a bonus. We hiked up and back in a total of 1 hour, including the walk to the trail. Breakfast is excellent. I would recommend it!

“Bon séjour.”

The hotel sits in a lovely, quiet residential area. Getting to the city center is easy with a nearby bus stop, and the buses run frequently. The Scottish breakfast is very good, and the staff are warm and welcoming. The bathroom feels a bit dated.
