“Will try a different hotel next time.”

We booked three suites on the club floor; the staff did a decent job, but the food and drinks were just average.

“fantastic”

Everything was great: the high‑floor room, breakfast variety, location, facilities, pool, sauna—highly recommended. One small tweak: the reception staff could be friendlier and make you feel at ease instead of coming across as arrogantly aloof; otherwise, everything was fantastic.

“Good experience”

The bed was super comfortable and all amenities were included; the breakfast buffet offered both Chinese and Western dishes, and the staff knew which room we were in. The air conditioning was noisy and made it hard to sleep with it on.

“Elegant stay in Shinan, Qingdao”

The hotel is a short walk from Mixc mall and May 4th Square, and it’s part of the daily downtown light show. The room was clean, comfortable, and elegant with marble‑like floors; the bathroom was huge, the floors seemed heated, and it had nice touches like slippers, bathrobes, and a powered curtain. Breakfast was excellent and covered Western, Chinese, and Continental options. On a rainy day we visited the Qingdao Beer Museum, which was worth it; for 100 RMB you can get in, taste two samples, and take home three more beers, and it’s a 20‑minute ride from the hotel. Nothing really negative, just note that the hotel is about an hour’s ride from TAO airport.
