“A Beautiful Ryokan with Unbelievably Amazing Staff, Delicious Food, Romantic and Relaxing Vibes.”
We adored this place and didn’t want to leave! The staff truly enhanced our Japan visit, going above and beyond in every way. They helped us plan a feasible itinerary, were very accommodating with shuttle service, and the food and its presentation were incredible. The ryokan’s onsens were relaxing and easy to book. The facilities are well maintained, clean, and the rooms are cozy. They supplied clean robes and towels daily, which we used for the other nine onsen baths nearby. We hope to return someday! The only caution is that the area is very small; local restaurants are tiny and their hours depend on how busy they are. Senshinkan Matsuya’s staff can guide you, but double‑check opening times and have a backup dinner plan. Also, bring enough cash, as there’s only one ATM nearby with limited hours.
