The hotel is very good, clean, and for me the most important thing was that there was a small balcony. I felt very comfortable.

“Schönes Anwesen abseits der Stadt mit solider Funktionalität und protestantischer Bescheidenheit”

The property was beautiful with a park and, despite being on a main road, it was very quiet even with the windows open. Check‑in started at 14:00 using a safe and worked flawlessly. There was a lockable bike storage with sockets, and the walk to the rooms was short. The bathroom was modern. The breakfast buffet was simple but liked and sufficient. The staff were friendly at breakfast and during check‑out. On the downside, the breakfast room had a hostel‑like vibe because it’s a conference centre of the Evangelical Church. Compared to other hotels on the Ruhrtalradweg, the price‑performance ratio for a 17 € breakfast could be improved. The Wi‑Fi transmitter in the hallway reached the bathroom but not always the window‑side bed.

Breakfast was good and plentiful. The location was quiet, surrounded by a park‑like setting, and the facilities were modern. The hotel sits in a suburb of Schwerte and is a large conference centre with many rooms, so as a solo cyclist I felt a bit lost. We had a huge room with two separate single beds, which felt like a hostel atmosphere for the fairly high price of almost 200 EUR.

The location was good, close to the Ruhr cycle path, and the room was nice with a small terrace and a park for relaxing.
