“Excellent value for the location”
I was pleasantly surprised by how roomy the room was and its location. The TV was a bit too small for the size of the room.

The price was good, it was close to Shetpler's ferry dock, and the room was clean. The lobby closed from late evening until mid‑morning, the pool didn’t open until 10 am (10 a‑10 p), the courtyard area had no roof, and there was no microwave in the room.

Location was the highlight of our stay, but the carpet was extremely dirty.

The location was great—just minutes from the boat to Mackinac Island. The motel feels safe and clean, though it’s not a fancy hotel. There’s a small indoor pool, and it really saves money compared to staying on Mackinac Island. The boat ride tops out at 20 minutes. In the off‑season, there were no crowds and it was very nice. Nothing stood out as a problem; it met expectations.
