Guest House in Gyumri

After seeing the photos of the accommodation on Booking and choosing it based on those, I was disappointed with what was offered: a room in a newly built building that is very correct from every point of view, next to the building where I thought we would stay, and although it is less recent, it had a certain charm linked to the courtyard and the layout of the various rooms. The design is really nice and the paintings on the walls are tasteful. The owner is very friendly. The communal kitchen has a fridge and everything you need. Everything was great, except for a loud ventilation in the bathroom, but it only ran when the light was on.

It’s a very nice, clean, and quiet spot with a friendly host. I loved the garden and the seating area outside.

“Casa confortável, com um bonito jardim”

The location between the station and the city center made walking easy, the room was new and spacious, as was the bathroom, and it had light and good windows. The kitchen in the basement wasn’t very inviting, but it had everything needed to cook and do laundry.

“Не рекомендую!”

Nothing. The hotel owner (apparently him) promised to accept me at 01:00 because I was arriving late, said there would be no problem, but when I got there he didn’t answer his phone and we were talked to by other guests of this “hotel” or something unclear now; in short, I don’t recommend it.
