Breakfast was a treat—those free‑range eggs had that rich yellow yolk you only get from country hens. The hosts were classic, warm and attentive, which made the whole stay feel like a home away from home. Everyone else was friendly too, and the whole vibe was just right.

“Love to stay, love the property, I would go back again”

The place is huge, with gorgeous gardens and a pool that feels like a private oasis. A feeder outside draws in a parade of birds and other critters, turning the mornings into a Disney‑style scene. The antique décor gives it charm, but the bed was a bit too soft for my taste, so we drifted to the middle a bit. Still slept well, though maybe new mattresses would help.

Stayed here and it was top‑notch. The spot is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and the room was spotless before we even unpacked. The couple running the place were super welcoming and answered every question quickly, making the whole process smooth. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, almost like home. Even with other guests around, it stayed quiet and relaxing, and the garden was a joy—waking up to friendly animals was a highlight. It felt especially magical in winter, and I’d definitely return.

Loved being close to the national parks and the building itself is a beautiful colonial gem.

A lovely B&B with beautiful gardens and plenty of wildlife. The pool is a nice touch, the bed is super comfy, and breakfast is delicious.
