I liked the spot, especially since it’s on the river.

The place and the pub’s look were fine, but the staff—especially the guy who checked us in—were not welcoming at all and knew nothing about the area. I expected an exceptional breakfast, yet the sausages were old, tough, and streaky bacon. How is that an English breakfast? Stay Brochure. Alternatively, you can chat with the pub team directly; they’ll gladly share local tips.
