Hotel Minerva is set amidst gardens outside Brindisi centre, 6 km from Brindisi Papola Casale Airport. The hotel features a swimming pool, tennis court, and football pitch, with guest rooms surrounding the pool. Air-conditioned rooms have satellite TV and free Wi-Fi is available. A games room, restaurant serving local dishes, and bus link to Brindisi historic centre are also offered, with Ostuni 30 minutes' drive away.

The location was fantastic.

The view was beautiful and the staff were very welcoming, but the bedding was mediocre and the bed made a lot of noise. Breakfast was not great, with very few salty options and many industrial choices.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful, earning a +20 rating. The setting was calm. The resort had great potential, but there was no WIFI in the room. The fridge malfunctioned, was full of water, and had an open, half‑empty water bottle inside. The bathroom needed renovation.

The hotel was close to the airport and was quite decent for a single night. The front‑desk staff that evening, when we arrived at 23:00, were very friendly and spoke French. The room was large and clean, and the bedding was good. The breakfast was basic, with no salty items, likely due to the moderate price.

Only the staff and the parking convenience were positive. The experience was. the room had a bad odor and stained sheets, far below the expected standard. There was no smart TV, and there were many insects and mosquitoes; a simple mosquito repellent plug would have fixed the issue, but it wasn’t provided. Overall, it didn’t justify the money spent and I wouldn’t repeat it. I don’t recommend it at all.
