The spot’s right by the river, and the fish‑patterned carpet was a hit. Everyone on staff was super friendly, and the on‑site restaurant served generous portions of fish that were delicious.

“Need better deadbolts on the doors”

I was clean but didn’t like that someone tried to break into our room after we’d gone to bed, using a keycard to unlock the door and then slipping a hand through the gap to dislodge the slider lock. The slider lock itself didn’t make me feel safe.

It was spacious, but the bathroom was small.

Everything was within walking distance—shopping, restaurants, the Kenai River, fishing spots, and repair shops—and the hotel even has its own restaurant. There were plenty of comfy couches and tasty food, and the shower head in the bathroom gave me great hot water. I also liked the high‑end fish carpet. The only downside was having to climb the stairs to the second floor because I’m lazy—just a joke.
