The staff treated me exceptionally well and the hotel arranged a car service to and from the train station, and the bed was very comfortable, but the walls are thin and I could hear my neighbor talking on her phone next door.

Whenever I’m in Vientiane, I stay at the Grand Hotel for its special Lao flair and local cuisine—it’s a hidden gem. I have no complaints; the stays are perfect and enjoyable.

The staff were wonderful, super helpful, and welcoming. The location is excellent if you’re heading to the Thai embassy. The rooms feel very dated, though.

The staff were hospitable, the dinner and breakfast were delicious, the room was clean—everything was great! No complaints.

Walking to the Thai Embassy is a short stroll, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly, but there was no swimming pool.
