“Exceptional”

My fiancée and I booked Jonathan’s place on Koh Phangan through Moontravel and it turned out to be one of the best stays we’ve had. Jonathan is an amazing host—warm, energetic, and genuinely invested in showing us the real island instead of the touristy side. His suggestions were the highlight: beaches, food, waterfalls, and hidden spots we would never have found alone. I also worked remotely and spent most of the week from his place. The Wi‑Fi held up during long workdays, the space was comfortable for hours, and nothing ever needed chasing. That reliability is rare and made a real difference. He was helpful, responsive, and completely dependable from booking to checkout. Highly recommend Jonathan and Moontravel; we’re already planning to return in a year.

The site was fantastic, rooms were very spacious and clean. The owner was a charming person who texted me on WhatsApp, gave all the information, and let me check in at 12:00. Thank you very much. I would come back without hesitation.

The owner, Jonathan, is probably the friendliest person in Koh Phangan. The hotel room is relaxed, just like the owners. There’s a yang na tree and a lovely coconut grove near the balcony on the rear side, offering a wonderful view, while the front corridor faces the lively Ban Tai Road with a rock bar and even friendlier people around. Overall, a great experience.
