The host’s communication was sloppy. We received no check‑in notice and had to call on the day to get the details, which is unacceptable for a hotel. Since there is no reception (they’re apartments), the key hand‑over had to be flawless, but it wasn’t. In hot weather the penthouse gets very warm, even with the portable AC. The second bed on the mezzanine is okay but not very inviting or practical—more suited to a family, and the stairs mean children can’t be too young.

“Fijn verblijf”

The location was perfect for us, close to a supermarket, restaurants, and the station is a short walk away. Check‑in was a bit chaotic because the instructions were forgotten, but once inside everything ran smoothly.

It was very clean and well organised. The surrounding area is lovely for a walk, with canals and mills to see, and it’s easy to reach Rotterdam by bike. Inside, it was scorching hot, even with the fan and air‑conditioning, which made sleeping difficult.

Great location, good room, clean. The downsides: terrible Wi‑Fi, the room wasn’t cleaned at all during the week, and it was very slow and troublesome to get the access code for the hotel and room, even though payment was made a month and a half in advance.

“Alojamiento muy céntrico y acogedor .”

The place was cozy and bright, situated in a very central and pretty spot. Everything else I liked.
