Home at Rome Luxury Navona Guest House 2

“Décevant”

The location was perfect. The host was not at all pleasant or available; we waited more than 30 minutes outside the building before she finally opened the door. Once, the room wasn’t cleaned, and when I told the host she blamed us entirely, even though we had clearly marked the “clean the room” sign on the door. Her attitude was very unpleasant and she offered no solution. Moreover, the listing claimed there was a “spa,” but in reality there was none in the accommodation; it was just access to a gym over a kilometer away with a sauna, so the description was misleading. At check‑out we didn’t dare leave our luggage in the building for fear of not being able to retrieve it, so we had to pay for a luggage storage service, incurring extra fees.

The room was really comfortable, clean, and spacious after a remodel. The location was good for tourist attractions. Breakfast, which is included, is served in the restaurant on the first floor and is very tasty with generous portions. The room had shampoo, liquid soap, hand soap, a hair dryer, air conditioning, a iron, and a communal kitchen area (which was not used). The streets have several shops, souvenir stalls, and gelato places. The block is safe and busy, but despite the external view, noise was well controlled. The shower had hot water. The double bed was comfortable, though the extra bed was not as comfortable. 7/10. The building entrance was clearly not pretty or clean; there was trash at the door and it’s an old building. There is no elevator, so you have to climb all the stairs. There were mice right on the street where you enter, but that’s a general issue in central Rome at night. The bathroom’s exhaust fan turns off and then the room smells of pipes and dampness. It’s a pity that breakfast starts at 8 am, so early‑morning tours can’t grab a bite.

“Mala comunicación y publicidad”

The place sits right in the middle of a bustling area, which is great. However, keep the windows shut because a ton of mosquitoes will crawl in, so don't fall into that trap. The promised spa time doesn’t exist, and the WhatsApp contact stops responding.

“Buono”

The apartment matched the photos and everything was fine. The entrance could use some improvement, and the lack of an elevator is a problem since it’s on the second floor of an old building with somewhat uneven stairs. I was disappointed by the rude interaction with the cleaning staff during check‑out.

The hotel’s location is good. It was fine overall.
