The hotel only served a Chinese breakfast, and it was pretty bland. There was no Western option, which was a let‑down.

Our room was on a high floor with a stunning view of the mountains and river. The area downstairs had a restaurant, café, bar and even a massage place, all within walking distance of the sights. The front desk staff spoke fluent Japanese and were really helpful.
