I loved the rural setting of this Casa and the medieval atmosphere. It would have been nice to have instructions on how to use the washing machine, and I had to be careful opening the door so the cats wouldn’t get into the unit.

The accommodation is fantastic, full of history and with all the services. A perfect place for day trips to the Pyrenees.

This place is truly unique, very quiet, with a stunning view, and not far from a convenience store and a restaurant. Quino, the master of the place, gave a warm welcome.

I stayed in a charming house that sits inside a 16th‑century tower, fully renovated and tastefully decorated, preserving impressive elements like an oil press. The host was always available, quickly fixing a dishwasher issue and checking in whenever we needed anything. Because it’s a family home, you feel the love for the land and the dedication of the owners. It’s only 15 minutes from Ainsa and close to valleys and waterfalls such as Añisclo, Escuain, the Cinca, the Ara, and the Bellós, all within the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park. If you want peace with great views of the fields and the rocky ridges, this is the place. And don’t miss climbing the Muro de Roda fortification for a couple of Roman‑era churches and stunning 360° panoramas.

The location, the owners, and the idea of staying in a castle are positives. There is no bathroom; a curtain separates the room as shown in the photo. The stairs to the rooms are extremely narrow and almost claustrophobic, so a large suitcase doesn’t fit. Our room was on the second floor. There were stray animals; while I love animals, the conditions were unpleasant, with fleas, and the cats looked bad. They were lacking food, and they would enter the rooms. The mattresses were very soft. They only offered shampoo. Towels were not cleaned or changed for four days.
