I had stayed here before when it was noticeably quieter; now the mattress’s hard edge was fine, the breakfast was good, and the room was fine.

The Wi‑Fi worked (the room faced the router), but everything else was terrible: the staff were unwelcoming, the room was stark, the sheets were dirty and smelled of tobacco (something even burned on the top of the bed that they covered with a plain white sheet), the TV was broken, there was no chair to sit on, no fridge or kettle, the bathrooms were poorly maintained (cigarette butts from the previous guest still in the shower), there was no hot water in the pipes, the window ledge was covered in pigeon droppings that made a clucking sound like an alarm, and there were cockroaches in the shower and ants looking for food. Breakfast was served at 8 a.m., even if you slept in. Regardless of the booking site, reviews for this place are all poor. It is definitely not a resort and far from a holiday spot, and at €40 per night it feels like a rip-off! You should remove this dump from your database.
