The view from both the 5th‑floor breakfast area and the balconies and patios on floors 6 and 7 is spectacular; the venue really delivers. The rooms are very quiet and come with excellent blackout curtains. The only drawback was that our room didn’t have a kettle for tea or coffee, though the bar fridge was good.

Being close to the Vatican, restaurants, and the Bridge of Angels made the bus tours convenient. However, there was no access to the rooftop bar for guests who had booked an event; residents should have that privilege.

The spot was central, but you couldn’t be dropped off right in front, which was inconvenient. The reception was friendly, but the wait staff were terrible, especially the young guys. My husband complained that the bacon wasn’t cooked enough, but the staff didn’t even offer to fix it.
