I had a good stay at Galaxy City Hotel. A special shoutout to Nusri at the front desk—despite being just 16 years old, he was incredibly professional, polite, and always eager to help with a smile. It was really fun chatting with him. The location is very convenient—the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is just about a 15‑minute walk away. A quick tip for arriving guests: Google Maps might pin the backside of the property, but it's not a big issue at all since there are stairs right there that lead straight to the road and hotel entrance. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and decent for a relaxing stay. While the wallpaper was slightly torn in a few spots, it didn't bother us at all given how tidy the room was and how great the overall service was. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kandy, especially for the fantastic hospitality and great location!
