I was booked, but they cancelled us on the way there, even though the area looked nice and the pub was busy.

I booked a room for one night, but when I arrived late in the evening I was told there was a leak and all rooms were inaccessible; no prior communication or compensation was offered. The manager offered to help me find another place to stay but didn’t compensate me for the inconvenience, the stress, or the extra money I paid for the hotel room booked at short notice, and not even a drink was offered—extremely poor service.

I arrived to book in and was told I couldn’t stay because it had rained so they were not letting any rooms; I had just driven for an hour and a half, it was pouring, and I had to find somewhere else. The barmaid told me while serving customers, and they could at least have sent someone to talk to me; I won’t ever book in there again, it was so rude and disrespectful.

“Got a call 2 hours before check in , apparent leak in loft .”

They cancelled on the morning of arrival, and as above.
