The lighting in the ground‑floor room was very dim, and because there was no wall or barrier to the public I couldn’t open the drapes, leaving me exposed to the public with zero privacy.

There are no blow dryers in the bathroom, and that’s a drawback.

Mark at the front desk always looked out for me during my stay, making it the most comfortable experience I’ve ever had. The air‑conditioner model is a bit old, so it makes a lot of noise when running.

I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely return to Novato. The person who checked me in upgraded my room to one with a balcony when I requested it; the room and bathroom were clean and I had no issues. The hotel overall was clean, and every staff member I met was friendly. I have no complaints; everything I liked about the hotel was exactly what it should be.
