“Un pedazo de historia transformado en hotel, espectacular.”
The main highlights were the personal treatment and the service offered. A 1900s manor house, modernist style, turned into a hotel. Even though the rooms don’t have air‑conditioning, the nighttime temperature is very pleasant, and we even had to cover ourselves with the sheet at midnight. The location is ideal, a 5‑minute walk to a natural pool with very fresh water. Both breakfast and dinner were very good. We chose a breakfast with local cured meats, unbeatable, and the dinner, modest, was a simple tortilla with coca bread and tomato, accompanied by a tomato and onion salad, both made like at home with quality ingredients. Also, Sophie’s house‑made desserts were unbeatable, a small apple crumble. Special mention for the garden, sipping gin tonics in the afternoon shade under a tree in a well‑kept setting is priceless. For early‑rising people, the wait for breakfast, starting at 9:00, feels a bit long, although a few meters from the hotel there’s a bar that serves breakfast with knife and fork.
