The place is roughly new, the shower water was hot, but nobody greeted you and it felt like you were alone on the property.
The location was close to my event, but there was no heating and it felt very cold.
“Cabaña austera, cómoda pero muchas cosas por mejorar”
The spot is convenient and the beds were comfy with enough blankets to keep warm, so I slept well; Manuel greeted us warmly when we arrived, hot water was on tap straight away from both the shower and sink, and the parking area was roomy enough for two cars per cabin. Wi‑Fi was listed, though I didn’t test it because my phone already had solid data and call reception, and the cabin stayed warm even when it was chilly outside. The downside was that there was no wardrobe or wall hooks, making it awkward to hang my suit and the women’s dresses we brought, and the electrical system was poorly regulated – turning on a hair dryer dimmed the lights for all cabins, which surprised everyone. The bath towels were just average and there was no shelf in the bathroom, so we had to place toiletries on the toilet tank lid. Manuel gave us his personal number for any cabin issues, but he replied to messages hours later. Finally, the property advertised card payments, yet they only accepted cash or bank transfer, and there were just three power outlets: two already in use (one for a bedside lamp, another for a screen), forcing us to unplug them to charge our phones.
