Ryokan Wakaba was an amazing experience; dinner was delicious, breakfast just as good, onsens very clean and relaxing, staff accommodating and speaking good English, I’d stay again if I could, but the only gripe is that we didn’t stay long enough—super relaxing to escape the fast‑paced cities.

Il ryokan è bellissimo, le stanze autentiche, l’area dell’onsen esterna immersa nella natura rende l’esperienza unica, dispongono anche di vasche private per famiglie, la cena abbondante e deliziosa, così come la colazione, e ci hanno accolta all’arrivo, aiutato con gli autobus per il ritorno e ci hanno accompagnato nuovamente tramite la navetta dell’albergo.

Ryokan Wakaba shines because of its staff, who offer the best service I've seen across all the Japanese hotels I've stayed at, especially their English. The meals are delicious and elegant, served right in your private room, and the location is spot‑on. No complaints at all.

We had an incredible night stay at Wakaba. The welcome and individual attention made it feel like a five star experience. The room was just as I'd hoped. The staff were great with my son. The food was incredible. So much and so delicious. Our individual attendant explained everything to us and we had personalized menus to take as a souvenir. The beds were so comfortable and I had the best nights sleep in Japan. This will give us some lasting memories. Not having more time. As a warning Google will take you down the narrow town streets but the staff will park for you
