“Not clear booking site and unfriendly host”

Nothing to like when you treated unfairly busy host named Martin. What is didnt like .Firstly his page should have specified size of dogs acceptable Secondly when he called me to confirm my booking he never mentioned what size dog I have and whether he will allow it . I habe a golden retriever large breed .If he knows about dogs he would have allowed it . I was 600km away from home and I was stranded as I could get alternate accommodation as it was a long weekend and it was 7pm in the evening. He felt no empathy and we hadn't even jumped out of our before he refused our stay . Another frustration , it took a month to get my refund after numerous calls and communication methods . Utterly dissapointing and I will never recommend this accommodation by a horrible host . Bookings.com get your act together and specify types of pets allowed and what's not .Be specific

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the garden was very beautiful and neat—refreshing to be there. The rooms were big enough, and the KING bed was a bonus for me. Everything about the place was perfect.

The staff were great, very polite and always willing to help. The property is beautiful, in a safe and accessible area. Some facilities might be outdated and could use renovating; we had a few leaks during our stay but were kept informed the whole time.
