The building is beautiful in the historic center, fully renovated and well cared for. It’s a bit small and the stairs are narrow and uncomfortable.
“Great location, tough to sleep.”
The location is perfect, probably the best spot to stay in upper Vasto, and the ladies at the breakfast bistro are fantastic. The property is up to date with its finishes, colors, and features. The room wasn’t clean: the floors were dirty, there were spots and marks all over the bathroom mirror, the fan in the bathroom was coated in dust and buzzed the whole time the light was on, and the toilet was freshly used with smears in the bowl—we had to clean it ourselves. The bathroom light is a motion sensor and timer you can’t shut off, so as soon as it detects movement the light turns on and the exhaust fan starts; it feels like it will run for 10 minutes. The bed was comfortable but there was no airflow and no air conditioning. The wall unit under the window is basically a low‑powered fan. We had to sleep with the balcony door and window wide open just to get any airflow. It’s a great location, but it was a tough stay. I can’t imagine staying again in August.
The stairs to reach the room on the second floor are too steep and not very accessible.
Breakfast on the terrace was fantastic!

The location is good, although the ground‑floor room is quite noisy. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly. If the owners of a property aren’t on site, they must have someone who can handle possible emergencies instead of relying on guests. Also breakfast was not on the premises, and that wasn’t specified on Booking.
