A delightful home in the city centre, just a few hundred metres from all the monuments, with a private parking option. The breakfast was very good, the host was present and very attentive. The room was spacious, quiet, and faced the garden. Nothing to report.

Casa di Terry is only a 15‑minute walk from the train station, with stops at Basilica di San Giovanni Evangelista (free entry) and past Palazzo di Teodorico. It sits in Ravenna’s centre, close to all must‑see monuments. Roberto was a wonderful host—helpful and enthusiastic—making the stay relaxed and pleasant. The house is decorated with various artworks (my room had a Degas copy), and there’s a garden where Roberto grows herbs and fruit, though we couldn’t access it during breakfast. My room was large, clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated in a classic style. Thank you, Roberto. The only downside was the shower: the bathroom was nice, large, and clean, but the shower itself was subpar. The showerhead was wall‑mounted and too close to the wall, forcing me against a cold surface; the base was very small and the curtain clung to me, letting water spill out. The limited space likely caused weak water pressure, so if you have long, thick hair it may be hard to rinse shampoo.

“Brilliant couldn’t have been better”

Roberto was incredible—warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The house and rooms are decked out with antiques and paintings, giving a stunningly beautiful vibe. Breakfast was amazing: we could choose continental or cooked options, and I went for muesli with goat’s yoghurt and walnuts—tasty! There were also fruit juices, teas, and coffees, plus croissants with pistachio cream that blew me away. Even the napkin color was up to us, and everything arrived in a cozy breakfast room with a garden view. We stayed for two nights and wish we could have stayed longer; it’s one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed in Italy. I liked everything.
