“Tout à fait correct. Un peu excentré.”

The family‑friendly hotel was welcoming and well maintained. The Wi‑Fi didn’t reach our room.

“Nos atendeu muito bem!”

The hotel is small and simple, but the staff were very attentive. Room 4 was spacious, had a wardrobe and mini‑fridge, comfortable bed and pillows, and the heater kept the suite warm. Cleaning was done daily. Mr. Jack and Mrs. Maria were always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but tasty. The location is good, about a 7‑minute walk to the metro, so I used public transport a lot. The only downside was that breakfast was the same every day and I missed fruit. The double bed was actually two single beds joined together (common in hotels), but they were far apart, leaving a gap between them.

María and Jacques were charming and very helpful; we felt better than at home with many thoughtful touches and a delicious breakfast prepared by María. We wish them all the best and good health, miss them already, and hope they remember the “Spanish” Torres, like the wine, and that they’re from Murcia, the same province as Alcaraz.

The location was great, and Mrs. Rosa’s breakfast was wonderful. I have nothing negative.
