The staff were friendly and the room was spacious with a good smart TV and a comfy bed, but the selection of drinks and food was frustratingly limited—most menu items were unavailable when I ordered.

The pool was small but clean, and the hotel sits within walking distance of the town center, so restaurants and the port are easy to reach; however, the AC was too weak, the TV’s cable channels were blurry, mosquitoes were plentiful, a cockroach appeared, and unlike pricier hotels that offer free airport shuttles, we had no free van for the airport transfer.

It’s a good idea to take a tuk‑tuk up to the hotel from downtown.
