“Il passato nel presente”
A charming spot ideal for spending several days in complete relaxation without fuss and definitely surrounded by greenery. The host and family were very kind. Nothing to report except the minor issue with the shared bathroom, which is fine because it’s a true B&B as it should be.
The house was freshly renovated, offering stunning views, stylish furniture, and a well-equipped kitchen for cooking. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and kept me warm during the cold weather. The family running the place were very friendly and accommodating.
“Nooit naartoe gaan.”
Nothing worked for us. The reception was ruined by barking dogs, and no one opened the door, even though people were actually there. The location was extremely hard to reach; the unpaved, steep road made it dangerous. They didn’t open a door for us, yet there were people present. The dogs kept barking. Phone calls were impossible because the person we spoke to only spoke Italian. Although we didn’t stay overnight, we had paid in advance and didn’t get a refund. Overall, not recommended at all.

Even though it’s stated that no catering is offered, given the distance from any bar or service I would suggest at least coffee, a pack of biscuits, or something to drink to make the arrival more welcoming. In the bedroom there’s no curtain on the window and in the morning the light becomes a bit uncomfortable for rest. The cost for a room with a bathroom outside the room is high compared to other accommodations in the area.
The house was gorgeous with a fantastic view. The host recommended her partner’s bar for dinner and drinks, which was amazing! We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
