“Charming, but basic.”
The location offered a magnificent view of the hills and was quite gorgeous. The hut was basic but had working power outlets and a microwave. I found the bed comfortable and the hut charming. In summer weather, I think that. The reception was not overly welcoming; the lady who handled guests had left for an hour, so we missed her. The hut is charming, very basic, and it was cold. There was a heater that didn’t take long to warm the hut, but you had to keep turning it on and off again because the hut then got too hot. What I didn’t like was that the toilets were very basic and the shower, although hot, was cramped. Shaving was a bit of an effort with the little sinks. It was also quite noisy, a working farm with a great dog chorus throughout the day barking from a barn near the hut.
