“I have stayed at better La Quinta’s. I was disappointed, no hot tub disappointed that the Customer washer and dryer didn”
I was asked for a king with a walk‑in shower, but the front desk handed me a room with two queen beds. The night staff suggested I switch to a king room that was available, and they did, yet the bed was too high, lacking grab bars and a raised toilet. There was no hot tub, and pool towels were missing. The customer dryer was broken with no ETA for repair. The AM staff seemed clueless about the room’s cleaning status and told me to check on it myself before letting them know when it was switched. The same person, who I thought might be the manager, didn’t know if the laundry machines were working or if soap was available; he said I could get soap at the counter if none were upstairs. When we checked, only the washing machine worked, and there was a sign that the dryer was out of order with no ETA. The AM desk staff were very non‑committal and appeared unaware of the situation, yet two other staff members offered to dry our clothes for us. I also disliked the motel’s buffet: it never offered variety. Every day the same potato and gravy were served, with only a few meat options—sometimes small sausages, sometimes bacon or ham. Fresh fruit was limited to apples, unlike other La Quinta locations that offered apples, oranges, and bananas. The menu stayed identical for the seven days we stayed, which got tiring, so we ended up going to Denny’s twice.
