The place was lovely, the size was just right, very comfortable for a couple, nothing more needed, the outdoor garden was stunning and pleasant, and the view from the cabin was beautiful. The bed was very soft, making it hard to sleep, a bit like a water bed; lucky we were very tired each day at the end of the day and just fell asleep, but it wasn’t ideal.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making you feel right at home. The garden with its pond is gorgeous, offering several spots to relax. Everything is spotless, and there's plenty of space to store your belongings. The accommodation isn't huge, but it's never cramped. The breakfast is tasty and lovingly prepared. The place is very quiet, and the well‑built bike paths let you easily explore the beautiful surroundings—about 12–15 km to Rotterdam, depending on your destination.

The location was brilliant and the hosts were extremely friendly. The photos matched reality—a small paradise. You’re pampered from all sides. It might be a bit pricey for Poortugaal, but the price is definitely worth it.

“Een paradijs van rust !”

The stunning, versatile garden features a pond and winding paths with cozy seating in several spots, perfect for soaking up the calm it radiates. You can listen to and watch nature, plants, and animals, all while enjoying the accompanying music. The host Remco was attentive and pleasant to interact with.
