This place looks even better in person than on the photos. It’s a 10+ rating, and we’ve never stayed in a cleaner, more tidy venue of this type. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. The location is ideal for history lovers, and you don’t need a car to reach the bazaar and city center—everything is just a ten‑minute walk.

The rooms are very clean, and so is the hallway! A nice bonus is the private parking behind the building, located in the courtyard. The mattresses and pillows are disappointing; they’re uncomfortable. But the immaculate cleanliness of the sheets makes up for it.

The Guesthouse in Veliko is perfect for a short visit, offering hotel‑style rooms and a breakfast area where you can enjoy hot drinks, prepare food, and use a microwave—something we really appreciated. The room was a decent size with a small balcony that, despite overlooking a road, remained quiet. Staff weren’t always on site but were friendly and helpful when they were. Our access code issue was fixed quickly, showing how important service is, and we were pleased with the prompt response. The Guesthouse and room were spotless, and towels were replaced after a couple of days without us asking. We also received a pass for a nearby public car park, which was a nice touch. Great town, nice people!
