Hotel Ravikiran Alibaug

The room service came quickly, but the maintenance left a lot to be desired; the rooms were clean yet still below expectations, the bathrooms needed a proper upgrade, the lobby could use a redesign, and overall hygiene should be improved.

Nothing stood out as good; every facility was lacking, the AC leaked, the pool was filled with a white, thick substance and had no filter, staff were unresponsive, and the kitchen offered a very limited menu. Shabby.

I was really looking forward to my stay, but unfortunately, it got off to a terrible start when I spotted a few cockroaches scurrying around my room. On the bright side, the staff were super helpful when I reported the issue, and they offered to move me to a different room right away. The new room was spotless, and the bed was comfy, but the initial infestation was a major turn-off.

The hotel's prime location is definitely a major plus, with Varsoli Beach and Alibag Beach just a stone's throw away. However, the restaurant didn't quite live up to expectations - the menu was pretty limited, and we were disappointed to find out that several dishes we were looking forward to trying weren't actually available. Still, the hotel's proximity to the beach made up for the lackluster dining experience.

“Rude staff. Very slow services”

The location was the only redeeming quality of this hotel, but unfortunately, it wasn't enough to save it from being a complete disaster. The staff were some of the most unfriendly and blunt people I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with - they seemed to take pleasure in making our stay as miserable as possible. The rooms were tiny and cramped, the beds were uncomfortable, and the whole place just felt run down and neglected.
