Hotel Grisù Collins

The staff were nice, but everything else was terrible: the bed was shaky and uncomfortable, the sink was incomplete, the shower unusable, the AC unadjustable, the toilet’s flush was broken and leaking, the curtain couldn’t be pulled, there was only one blanket for two people, it was noisy, and the price from Booking was very high! The photos on the site didn’t reflect reality; everything was shabby. I won’t use Booking again if this happens again.

You can sleep there; the room is fairly clean. If you arrive after 18:00, you must pick up the keys at a nearby restaurant, and the Wi‑Fi doesn’t work at all.

The environment was very clean and comfortable, the staff were exceptional, and I’d return. Everything else.

The hotel was great, but there was no breakfast and the vending machine at the entrance was always broken. The reception was only open at specific times, otherwise you had to walk around the corner to the Italian restaurant past the disgusting trash cans. English was limited. The furnishings were sparse but sufficient. We didn’t know the fridge was in the desk. The bathroom had too few hooks and some outlets had cables hanging from the wall—quite scary. The air‑conditioning on the hallway was fine, but in the room you could only set it to 24 °C, and the fixed setting couldn’t be changed; it only worked with a key card. The mattresses compressed the springs. Cleaning staff were present, but please don’t clean! The bathroom urgently needs renovation and breakfast would be nice. From the outside the hotel was overgrown with bushes and I couldn’t find the entrance. It was exactly as described online, but for the price it was disappointing.
