I was appalled by the conditions. The floor was filthy, covered in hair, and a cockroach was present. Every piece of equipment was broken or “destroyed.” The bed was broken on one side along with the mattress, and the sheets were stained with blood. We handed the keys back to reception and demanded a refund because staying was impossible. Despite repeated follow‑ups from the hotel and contacting the booking platform, the hotel stopped responding and refuses to issue any refund. Shameful, I strongly advise against staying here.

The spot is great, especially for the price. Galata Tower is literally just a 2–3 minute walk away, and taxis reach the hotel with ease. For exploring Istanbul on a budget in a very central area, the location is unbeatable. Cleanliness, however, needs a lot of work. The bed linen didn’t feel clean, the floors were dirty, and the room and common areas overall felt poorly maintained. Some items that should have been available were missing or not properly prepared. The biggest issue for us was definitely the lack of cleanliness.

It’s close to Galata Tower, but otherwise everything was bad: the uneven floor, damp smell, everything was dirty, and water kept leaking from the fridge nonstop.

The only good thing was its proximity to Galata Tower, making it easy to visit nearby places; in June’s heat the AC didn’t work, the hotel management had no answer, and I had to sleep without AC for two nights.
