The host Beatrice speaks fluent English and the communication was flawless; we were welcomed warmly, shown her lovely vegetable garden with chickens, geese and rabbits, and were served vegetarian meals at night on request, with breakfast featuring local produce – a real highlight of our pilgrimage.

Beatrice gave a warm welcome, the bedding was comfortable and the equipment high quality, and the dinner and breakfast were very tasty, though there were a few too many stops on the road to Châlons.
