A fantastic spot for walking around the Lake District, which was the goal of our trip. Ambleside is just a short stroll into town. Breakfast was fantastic, the room was comfortable, and there’s a lounge for guests to use.

It’s a great place to stay and the breakfasts are excellent. Nothing to add.

The whole place was charming and beautiful, everything in the room was clean and functional. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent! I would have liked an earlier check‑in, but the staff kindly held our luggage so we could explore the town.

Everything! Plenty of parking space, the facilities are gorgeous, decorated with traditional Chinese furniture and art. Breakfast was delicious and the whole family looked forward to it the next day. The staff are nice, the room is comfortable. This is the best one I’ve stayed in the UK.
